Brian Cox CBE
ECM is Highly Honoured to have Award Winning Actor Brian Cox (CBE) as Our Patron. Brian is a globally renowned stage and screen actor whose career spans a magnificent 50 years in the acting profession.
The star is undeniably one of the best male actors of our time. He is currently starring in HB0's must-see TV drama "Succession", as the patriarch of a family owned media empire.
Brian initially came to prominence in the early 1970s with performances which ranged from that as King Lear with The Royal Shakespeare Company, to numerous television films. However, it was later in 1986 when he came to greater prominence with a major career break as Dr. Hannibal Lecter in "Manhunter".
Many more prestigious roles were soon to follow in both film and television, establishing the Actor as the distinguished star that he is today.
